Razor Electric Bike For Teens

A Razor dirt bike is a best selling riding toy among teenagers because it offers them the fun of being able to ride a real bike on off road circuits. In actual fact, it is a mini bike, and with limited speed, it turns into a safe ride on toy for kids. A Razor bike runs on rechargeable battery and once wholly charged, you can ride it for up to 45 minutes at one go.

Depending on the size and skill level of the rider, there are different machines to cater to different groups. The youngest rider allowed as per the manufacturer's advice is 12 for the lowest end Razor dirt bike. This bike, which is the Razor MX350, has a maximum weight limit of 140lbs and it can only reach up to 14 miles per hour with a 350-watt electrical motor. With its smaller size and lower speed limit, it is fitting for younger kids who are just learning dirt bike riding.

For a faster bike, there is the Razor MX650 Dirt Rocket at the upper end of the line. This bike operates on a 650 watt motor, which definitely has more power than the MX350. The speed ceiling for MX650 is 17 miles per hour plus it can take bikers of up to 220lbs in weight. While the ow end bike is designed with only 12-inch wheels, the MX650 uses 16-inch tire for its front and 14-inch tire for the back with its larger build. Intended for more experienced riders, it is recommended for those aged 16 and over.

There are also two other models besides the MX350 and MX650. They are the MX400 and MX500. The bikes will be more expensive as the strength and speed increased with each different model as you move up the scale. But, with the features being about the same between the MX350 and MX400, the latter is not as popular with buyers. They perhaps just do not believe that that it is worth it to pay the additional price just to pick up a 50-watt variation in the motor.

Finally, ensure that you buy the right bike for your kid depending on his maturity and experience. You have to be particular about which bike to buy because there are always a risk of accidents with these bikes, predominantly for those with no riding experience. Even if you have the funds to get the most expensive model, it may not be the most fitting for your kid after all.
