Coarse Fishing Tackle Assessment: The Fox International Diablo Baitcaster Reel

In contrast to many anglers, I am delighted with the arrival of winter. Why? As prey fish have a tendency to shoal up, and you are more apt to have a prosperous chase for the crafty killer that pursues them: the hard to pin down pike. I've been partial pike fishing. There is nothing more elating than landing one of these very successful piscine stalkers, containing a mouth packed full of razor-sharp teeth. So dress in your warm clothing and start pursuing pike. Locations to look? Well, at the end of fall, you should find pike in weedy areas in rather shallow water, less than 6' deep. After a while, in the early part of winter, focus your pursuit in deeper water, up to 15' deep. Pike like to come together all around structures like ledges, islands and sunken trees.
