Razor Mini Bikes For Kids
A Razor dirt bike is a well-liked riding toy among kids because it offers them the excitement of being able to ride what seems like a real bike on dirt riding tracks. Actually, it is a miniature bike, and with limits on how fast it can go, it turns into a safe bike for kids. A Razor bike operates on rechargeable battery and once completely charged, you can ride it for up to three quarters of an hour at a stretch.
Depending on the height and skillfulness of the rider, there are various designs to cater to different groups. All the models are made for teens with the slowest bike having a suggested minimum age of 12 for the rider. This bike in question is the MX350, which can only run up to 14 miles per hour with a weight ceiling of 140lbs for the rider. Since it is not so huge and slower, it is appropriate for younger kids who are just learning dirt bike riding.
For a faster bike, there is the Razor MX650 Dirt Rocket at the upper end of the line. This bike runs on a 650 watt motor, which comes with more engine capacity than the MX350. This electric dirt bike has a speed cap of 17 miles per hour and the maximum weight limit is also much greater at 220lbs. Whereas the MX350 is designed with only 12-inch wheels, the MX650 uses 16-inch tire for its front and 14-inch tire for the back with its bigger build. Made for 16-year-olds and older, it is a dirt bike that is apt for more experienced riders.
Of course, there are also two other models in between the MX350 and MX650. These are the MX400 and MX500. The bikes will cost more as the force and power increased with each different model as you proceed up the scale. However, with the features being not much different between the MX350 and MX400, the latter is not as popular with parentss. They probably just do not believe that that it is worth it to pay the higher price just to pick up a 50-watt difference in the motor.
Last of all, if you are searching for a Razor electric dirt bike for your teen, you should assess his experience and riding competency before buying. You ought to be cautious about which bike to buy because there are always a chance of accidents with these bikes, particularly for those with no riding experience. The costliest bike is not necessarily the most appropriate bike for your teen, although you may well be able to afford it.
